Over my Summer break from working, I decided to clean out my stash of yarn and found this handspun yarn hidden in the back of the closet. To the best of my recollection, I think this was spun somewhere around 2015 or early 2016. The fiber for this spin was purchased as a one-pound fiber batt; end of mill run, meaning whatever is left on the drum carder from all the fibers processed at the end of the day is what you get. All the fibers are of 100 percent wool. It is just not known what types of wool fibers you may have, and the colors of the wool fibers you get are a mix of whatever colors were contained in the fibers that were milled that day. This particular spin finished up as an sock weight yarn. I have not decided whether I want to spin it on my backstrap loom or whether I would like to knit it up into something one-of-a-kind in nature. #fibermill #handspunyarn #wool #knitting #crocheting #spinningyarn #fiberdyeing #oneofakind
